First draft.

This is the first draft that I have done for my music video of the song 'White Teeth Teens', and I think that there are both positive aspects to the product and also negative parts. I didn't realise when filming how difficult the lip-syncing parts would be and getting the timing right was one of the parts I found especially difficult. When filming these shots, the artist that I am using in my video was unsure of the lyrics for the specific lines of the song, so these had to be quickly learned line at a time. I also forgot for some parts that I had decided to change outfits to illustrate the artist's moods and emotions. This has lead to me realising that I have some shots that I can't use due to the miss en scene being wrong.

Problems with shots;
Lip syncing.
Costume.
Angles.
Camera movement.
Passersby.

Due to the area that I was filming part of the video in was somewhere that a lot of people choose to walk their dogs or excercise, there was a lot of re filming that had to be done because i captured their movements as well as the artist. Some of the camera shots were shaky due to them having to be handheld, and the angles of some of the shots when filming were difficult to capture.

After editing the video, I have realise that I will have to film a lot of the already done shots again because they don't look how I want them to. The main reason I will have to refilm is lip-syncing, as this proved a lot more difficult than I first thought.

Using Adobe Premier Pro was quite difficult because I hadn't used it before, but I still managed to edit parts of my music video in the way that I wanted. I am going to film all of the shots that I have planned on my storyboard, and then decide when it comes to editing the video whether some of the shots need to be altered.
