In this post, I am going to look at posters that advertise an artist's tour and also at adverts that are used in magazines to promote an album/single. I am going to look at a range of genres so that I can understand what the conventions are. If I only looked at one specific genre, then this could possibly give me information that I do not need to know as I would most likely find the conventions of that genre individually, and not the the music industry on a whole.
